Conclusion
Direct competition for the Corsa-e are the VW e-Gold and the Renault Zoe. Opel easily beats the e-Gold in terms of driving range – which is approximately 100 kilometers larger but slightly shorter than Zoe ´s. The Renault can go a little bit further (approximately 30km) for one charge. But overall neither of these competitors is as fun as the Corsa-e – which has got two faces. If you drive on Normal or Eco with family, you will not be that excited about this car. However, if you sit into the car alone, choose Sport mode and the Corsa-e becomes a fun go-kart. The fun factor is definitely on the Opel ´s side (compared to VW or Renault).
The price of the tested version was 31.090 euro and if it would not be possible to get state donation on this car, then I would have to say no to the Corsa-e. The interior simply does not beat the high price and the size of the trunk is also something not meant for bigger than two-member family. A stroller was kind of hard to fit in but after all it did. A bigger shopping bags had to go to behind the back seats.
